Who says Oktoberfest only happens in the fall?

This May, Hidden Valley Orchards is bringing Bavarian tradition to the farm with our inaugural Half-toberfest. Join us for a celebration of German food, festive drinks, live music, and playful competitions throughout the orchard on May 16-17, 2026.

Grab your friends, pull on your lederhosen (or dirndl!), and join us for a Half-toberfest packed with bierhall sing-alongs, feats of strength, family-friendly activities, and festival fun for all ages.

Explore multiple bierhalls, outdoor stages, and Apple Play Yards. There’s always something exciting happening — from log sawing contests and stein holding competitions to hay bale tosses and festive games for kids.

Whether you’re raising a glass during a sing-along, participating in the log-sawing contest, or enjoying live music under the trees, Half-toberfest is all about community, laughter, and making memories together in the orchard.

Is this event family-friendly?

Yes! Half-toberfest is designed for guests of all ages. Kids can enjoy animal encounters, games, face painting, and the Activity Yard.

How to check in for the event at the farm?

Once you arrive, please find our event check-in booth in the parking lot at the front of the Great Barn where you can receive your wristbands, drink vouchers, and other event materials.

Are costumes encouraged?

Absolutely! Guests are encouraged to come dressed in lederhosen, dirndls, or festive Bavarian attire. We will also have a best dressed contest during the event.

Will there be seating?

Yes. Communal tables and seating areas will be set up throughout the farm so guests can relax, eat, and enjoy the music and festivities.

Is parking included?

Yes, free parking is available on-site.

What happens if it rains?

Half-toberfest is a rain-or-shine event. However, if severe weather is forecasted, we may move the event to our rain dates of May 30–31, 2026. A weather decision will be made by Thursday, May 14 and announced on our website and social media.

Are refunds available?

Admission tickets are non-refundable.

Can I bring a stroller?

Yes, strollers are welcome.
